Privacy Policy

In short

This policy explains what data the Max Drive app (the “app”) processes, why, and what control you have. The app is published by Atom Apps (“we”). You can contact us at any time at atom.devapps@gmail.com.

1. Accessibility Service — how and why

Max Drive uses the Android Accessibility API to perform its core function: automatically detecting ride offers shown by ride-hailing apps (for example Bolt and Uber) and instantly showing you a profitability verdict, without you having to touch anything.

When a ride-hailing app is in the foreground, the service reads the text visible on screen and extracts only:

These values are used immediately to calculate profit, based on the costs you set yourself (fuel price, consumption, commission, wear-and-tear). The result is shown as a colored verdict overlaid on your screen.

What the accessibility service does NOT do:

You can turn the accessibility service off at any time from Settings → Accessibility on your phone.

2. What data we process and where it goes

a) Data kept locally, on your device

The following stays stored only on your phone and is not transmitted anywhere by us:

This data is completely removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data from your phone settings.

b) Diagnostic data (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)

Because the app runs on users' devices we have no physical access to, we use Firebase (Google) to understand whether the scanner is working correctly and to debug errors. We send:

WhatExamplesWhy
“Offer detected” eventthe source app's package name (e.g. Bolt/Uber), the fare, total distance, price per distance, verdictto confirm detection and calculation work correctly
Status eventsscanner start/stop, whether the service is enabledto tell “the overlay never showed” apart from “the service was never turned on”
Error reportsexception type, technical message, execution traces (breadcrumbs)to identify and fix defects
Standard Firebase technical datadevice model, Android version, app version, a pseudonymous app instance identifiercollected automatically by the Firebase SDK

This data describes ride offers and how the app behaves, not your identity. It does not contain your name, email, or phone number.

c) Subscription data

Full features are unlocked through a subscription paid via Google Play. To manage this we use:

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following providers, which process data according to their own policies:

4. Permissions

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. The data described above is processed only by the infrastructure providers named (Google/Firebase), strictly to make the app work. We may disclose it if required by law.

6. Data retention

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example the GDPR in the EU), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to the processing of your data. You can:

8. Children

The app is intended for adult drivers and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page.
